Pumpkin Patches in the Greater Birmingham and Surrounding Areas
Pumpkin patches are a great way to get in the October spirit! There are plenty of pumpkin patches in the Greater Birmingham area, and we’ve included a few that are a bit farther out as well.

Pumpkin Junction at The Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum

Another local place to get in the Fall season spirit is at The Heart of Dixie Railroad. There will be a hayride, inflatables, and a corn maze in addition to the pumpkin patch!
Old Baker Farm

This farm and pumpkin patch is located in West Blocton, AL. It features a hayride and corn maze that you and your family can enjoy!
The Great Pumpkin Patch

Located in Hayden, AL, this pumpkin patch located on a farm will give you all the fall vibes!

This pumpkin patch is out in Verbena, Alabama, that offers a lot from wagon rides to corn mazes, a cow train, a large corn pit, animal barn, pumpkin bowling, and so much more!

Located in Cullman, AL, this pumpkin patch is so much more than your usual pumpkin attraction. Enjoy a jumping pillow, cow train, pig races, and more at this farm!
Fall Festivals in the Birmingham Area
Fall Festivals and events are a more family friendly way to celebrate the Fall season! There are plenty of events going on in the month of October that you can attend with friends or small children. The festivals below are in order by date:
Hoots & Howls: Daytime Halloween Event at the Birmingham Zoo
Location: Birmingham Zoo
Date: Sunday, October 29th and Monday, October 30th, 2023

This is another great event from the Birmingham Zoo! Wear costumes and trick or treat around the zoo while enjoying a DJ and games!
Tannehill State Park Haunted Hayrides/Ghost Tours

Time: Starting at 6:00 pm
Tannehill is hosting haunted hayrides and ghost tours at their beautiful campgrounds!
Fall Fest 2023
Location: Buck Creek Trail
Date: Saturday, October 28th, 2023
Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Alabaster presents the Fall Fest 2023 at Buck Creek Trail! There will be arts and crafts, hay rides, carnival rides for children, trick or treating for kids, pumpkin painting, and more!
Haunted Houses in the Greater Birmingham Area
