Is it Worth Getting a Survey?
A survey is going to mark the boundaries of the property. Having a survey done will also tell you if there are any encumbrances on the property, if there are any utility lines that run through the property, and other numerous things that a survey might bring up. The most important thing that a survey will do is to let you know the boundaries of your property.
So all in all, it’s definitely worth it to get a survey done before you buy a house!
